Winter Circus Fun!🎪❄️
Don't let the cold weather get you down - there's lots of circus to keep warm and active over the next few weeks!
Dear Circus Enthusiasts,
We have a Local Matters jar at Grill’d Woden this month, so keep your eyes peeled and put a token in our jar when you go to grab a burger! Every month, each Grill’d restaurant splits $500 between three groups doing amazing work in the community —and that’s where YOUR vote counts. It’s only for this month, and if we have the most tokens in our jar at the end of the month we get the biggest share of the $500 donation!
☃️ Winter School Holiday Program
Enrolments are now open for the July Holiday Program! With programs for Half Highs (ages 5-7), Kick Ups (ages 8-12) and Next Step (intermediate ages 8-12), it’s a great way to keep warm and active in the winter break. 🤸
Due to popular demand, we’ve also just added an Adult Specialty session in the second week! Limited spaces available, so if you’re keen, head to the Members Portal to enrol ASAP.

Listening Together Co-Design Research Project
The Listening Together project is a co-design research project. Co-design means that two or more people work together to make something. In a co-designed project, everyone makes decisions equally.
The Listening Together project is co-designed by two researchers at the Australian National University (ANU) and a group of four young people with disability and young carers. You can read more about our research team here.
The co-design group has been meeting since September 2023. Sometimes we meet online, and sometimes we meet in person at the ANU.
The co-design team has worked together to build two accessible surveys. Young people with disability and young carers from around Australia are invited to take part in the research by completing one of the surveys.
The surveys are about how young people with disability and young carers define good listening, and whether they feel listened to by the organisations and services in their lives. Through these surveys, we hope to find out more about how organisations, such as service-providers and government agencies, can listen better to young people with disability and young carers. We want these organisations to listen to young people with disability and young carers, in the ways that they want to be listened to.
These surveys close on Friday, 20th June 2025. If you know a young person with disability or a young carer, the project team would love if you could pass the survey on to them! Luci, a long-term Warehouse student, is a co-researcher for this project.
