Hello Circus Families!
We are half-way through Term 1 and we are thrilled to have started the year with such a huge bang.
Our Term Classes have filled up so quickly it made our heads spin, especially our 5-7yrs Half Highs programs. It has made us so warm and fuzzy to see so many new faces keen to join us at circus.
We had so much demand for these programs that we have opened EXTRAS!
New Thursday Half Highs Class!
The waitlist for Half Highs got so wild that we put another option on the program.
When: Thursdays, 4-5pm
Where: Chifley Health and Wellbeing Hub
Enrolments are open now! We’d love to see you there.
The Canberra Circus Festival is coming to Chifley!
Oh my golly gosh, it’s finally happening!
We’ve got the May Wirth Big Top and some of the greatest names in Australian Circus coming RIGHT HERE to Canberra!
We’ll be transforming the Chifley Oval to be the Circus Festival of our dreams, with shows and workshops for anyone and everyone from the 19th to the 23rd of April.
You can find so much information about this shows, artists, timetable and more on the website: click the button below.
Tickets for shows go on sale tomorrow March 1st!
Speaking of the festival, we are looking for roustabouts!
“a circus worker who erects and dismantles tents, cares for the grounds, and handles animals and equipment”
Translation: we need volunteers to help us set up big-tops.15-18 April, we’d love to see people with white cards (encouraged but don't let it stop you volunteering if you don't have one!) and physically capable folks who are good at moving heavy stuff!
Email artistic_director@warehousecircus.org.au to get more info.

Social Circus Updates!
Warehouse Circus is proud to announce the return of our Bimberi Youth Justice Center program. We haven't been able to operate these classes for a number of years, but thanks to funding from the Department of Health we'll be running a weekly program with the young adults for a whole year and a half.
We'll be focusing on positive risk taking, healthy physical habits, and exploring meaningful activities and hobbies. These classes form the pointy end of our Youth Justice and at-risk-youth engagement plans. No kids left behind!
Strange Exchange Cabaret + New Lighting Rig!
Our incredible emerging artists showcased their brand new company and fully self-produced show Strange Exchange!
We had the pleasure of lighting the talented cast with our new lighting rig supplied by grants thanks to ACT Government. We are so excited to see where this show will take this dedicated group of emerging artists.
Meet the Board!
