2 Weeks Until Winter Holidays!
Read on to find out what's happening at Warehouse Circus this week!
Dear Circus Enthusiasts,
With lots of exciting things happening at Warehouse Circus, here’s a wrap of everything you need to know about this week!
There are only 2 weeks to go until the holidays!
In the spotlight this week - our Kick Ups Holiday Program!
Kick Ups is our general circus holiday program for ages 8-12.
A typical day at Kick Ups might look like this:
9am - Arrive
Get started with some juggling and warm up games, then try some balance skills, like unicycle, globe or rola bola.
10:30am - Recess
Develop your forward rolls and cartwheels, try some trampoline, then learn new tricks with a manipulation such as poi, spinning plates or hula hoop.
Make some new friends during adagio, where you might even try building a human pyramid!
1pm - Lunch time
Play some drama games, working on your performance skills for the show at the end of the week.
Build your strength and confidence with aerials (like trapeze or lyra), before stretching down.
3pm - Home time!
Have a good nights’ sleep, ready for another action packed day at circus!
Kick Ups is available at Chifley and Kaleen in both weeks of the holidays. There are limited places remaining, so make sure to secure yours today via the link below!

Workshops with Ian and Cody from The Circus Spectacular and Infamous
A number of Warehouse students recently participated in juggling and handstand workshops with Cody Harrington and Ian Richardson from The Circus Spectacular and Infamous. Students had a great time refining their juggling techniques with Cody, and learning new skills and tricks that Cody uses in his performances in the big top. Lots of our Adult Specialty students worked with Ian to improve their handstand techniques and learn drills to achieve new skills.
Thank you to Ian and Cody for sharing their knowledge with our students, and to everyone who attended the workshops! The Infamous Big Top has now travelled to Goulburn, but Ian and Cody are keen to keep working with our students while they’re in the area.
